ENDINGS!

Lauren and Stuart
Stuart
Stuart's Dad sends us
the following update: "...Stuart and I made it home ok,
and he is doing very well. He got brushed, bathed, & brushed
again before bed last night and was perfectly behaved. He slept
right next to the bed, and this morning climbed in for a belly
rub before going downstairs for breakfast. He is VERY well mannered
in the house.
He has met all the other furkids in the family and they all get
along very well. My mom's wolfhound is especially happy to have
someone near his size to play with.
Everyone loves him- my grandfather thinks that he is the greatest
thing since sliced bread- and my niece is happy to have a yellow
dog in the family (her favorite color)...
I found my camera earlier today, so I took some pics while we
were out this afternoon enjoying some of the beautiful weather...
Lauren is the black dog, and the Jack Russell terrier on the other
side of the fence is Sparky- he belongs to our neighbor and had
to come meet and greet. Thank you again - Stuart is a GREAT fit,
and I couldn't be happier."

Toby (formerly Bufus)
Griffin's family tells us, "...Toby
(formerly Bufus) is doing wonderful! He loves his new home and
has just become one of the gang. He is very loving and well trained!
He has his first Drs. appointment is on Friday and he is going
to go to dog training in May! He has not quite adjusted to our
cat and visa versa but we are trying to gradually introduce them.
Right now, the cat prefers to hide in the basement. :( Poor kitty.
Here is a picture of him in his new home... "
...thanks again for
our wonderful and happy new friend! Denise Rogers and family

Rusty (formerly known as Corey)
Rusty's Mom & Dad
sent us the following update: "Just wanted to drop you
a note to let you know that Corey ---- he is now named Rusty and
doesn't seem to mind a bit --- is doing great. We love him and
really enjoy having him as part of our family. It did not take
long for him to make himself at home and fit into our routine.
We've taken him to the groomer and the vet so he looks good and
is in excellent health. We got some Frontline from our vet so
we're ready for flea season.
Good luck finding homes for all the other adoptable Goldens you
have in your care. Bless you for the good work you and your husband
do at your Rescue and Sanctuary.

Jack with his sister Sophie
|
Jack
Jack's Mom sent us the
following update, "Jack is doing great. I have been working
with him on obedience and he seems to be a pro at it. Jack also
loves the snow. We recently had our first snow here and Jack loved
rolling around and eating the snow. He could not get enough of
the snow. He also absolutely loves playing with sqeaky toys. He
often sends them down the stairs so he can go fetch them. Also
... I brought Jack to work with me. All of my co-workers absolutely
loved him. He was so well behaved and did not make a peep all
day. My supervisor introduced him as the newest employee. He is
not certified yet but I am able to bring Jack to the office on
snow days when there are no kids there. I aslo spoke with my trainer
and she said that is very likely that he will be certifed by summer.
Jack is also really enjoying Sophie's company. They seem to be
quite a pair.
Take Care,
Erika

Lucky and Summer playing in the snow
|
Lucky
Lucky's family sent
us the following update, "...pics of Lucky and Summer
playing in the snow. Lucky still doesn't completely understand
the game. Fetch is a concept that he only partly understands.
His attitude is, "I chase it, I get it, it's mine!"
Just seeing him play is great, since he had no concept of playing
with other digs when he got here. He has come so far...".
Take care and take care of those pups,
Charlie

Button (formerly Bailey)
Button's Mom says, "we
are having a fabulous time! Magi and Bailey are even playing together!!
We've been to the groomer, the vet and all over the neighborhood
and he is doing great!. We will start formal training in the next
couple of weeks, but have already been good with "sit" ... I just
love sitting on my couch, with Magi laying on feet and Bailey's
head in my lap. Doggie heaven.
Bailey's smile (and he is
all smiles!) truly lights up everything and everbody around it!!!"
Thanks Again! Bonnie, Magi and Bailey
