Willie & Glen
Willie's Dad Glen says,
"Willie sat next to me, quietly the entire ride home ...
and is adapting to his new home very well. He is already improving
on his leash, and his manners around the kitchen are very good.
He actually lays quietly in the kitchen while we eat meals in
the dining room. He has met the cat, but shows very little interest
in her, although she's not a big fan of his yet. Willie loves
his two mile morning walk and any other romp outside .. He loves
the kids, both ours and our nephews, but he especially loves to
play with our neighbors yellow lab in their backyard. They wrestle,
jump and play every night until they drop from exhaustion ...
He's absolutely wonderful."
Thanks again.

Jack & Sophie
Jack's Mom Erika tells us, "Jack
is doing great. He has really settled in nicely and seems to enjoy
his new home and loves playing in the yard with Sophie...
We
are really enjoying Jack's company. He is a great dog with lots
of love to give. "

Brady
Brady's Mom says Brady
is a "Great Boy"!!
In the fabulous picture
we have included (above), we are told he is wearing holiday antlers.
Hmmm... Looks like he doesn't want any atlers to take center-stage
to his good looks. :) We are told the antlers he has in his paws
were snatched off the head of one of his siblings.
His Mom tells us Brady
is doing well in obedience training classes and she is hoping
he will eventually enter therapy training.
We were also told he's
been doing quite a bit of shopping. Mom " took him into
Home Depot with me and he did fine" and at Petco he is
Mr. Popularity!!! "Lots of people come up to him in Petco
and he loves it and he doesn't act crazy around other dogs."

he got lots of toys and treats...He is a great addition to our
family!

Jackson
Jackson's Mom Camela,
says "Jackson is like one of the family already! It took
him less than 2 days to realize that he has found a home with
us. We just can't believe how anyone could have given him up!
He's very good and well-behaved. And, at our house in Shawneeland,
where there are no roads near-by, we found out that we didn't
even need to use a leash after the first time. He does love being
with people, and we love having him."
Jackson enjoys his new
home in Nagshead. Lucky Boy!! His Mom also told us, "He
is very happy, and took to the water like and old pro. He loves
running on the beach, and when the weather gets warmer, I'm sure
he will enjoy swimming in the ocean with us."
Thanks again,
Camela January 2005

Snickers
Snickers enoys a Kodak
moment with his favorite boy!! Snickers family says he is doing
"fantastic!" His new Mom says, "He has fit into the family
perfectly. He and my son have very similar personalities and seem
to have a special understanding between each other...He is one
of the stars in obedience class because he's so gregarious and
mostly obedient. He is still so much a puppy and loves to play
even in class. Frankly, I think that's so adorable...He follows
me everywhere and goes on most errands in the car with me (temperature
permiting). He's very perceptive. If one of the kids is crying,
he tries to comfort them. He comes whenever called and is learning
fast."

Franky & Robbin
Franky looks proud &
happy to have his Mom's arms around him while he hams it up for
the camera with his stunning smile. In
May of 2003 they spotted Franky on PetFinder.com
and thought he was a strange looking fella. Robbin explains, "I
told Jeff we have to get this dog because nobody else would want
him...Imagine our surprise when we went to pick him up, and saw
the beautiful little boy! Thank goodness Carol just knew we would
be the right family for him from the beginning, so we adopted
quickly."
We hear Dad desribes him
as "a muscle with eyes" and has nicknamed him
"Chunky Monkey." *lol...too cute* Mom says, "Imagine
a Golden on Corgi legs, a 3 inch long tail with a 8 inch 'ponytail'
of hair at the end and you got a Franky. He is the best dog. He
lives to make you happy." Robbin tells us Franky
takes great pride in his appearance as she describes his typical
self- grooming routine: "He brushes his teeth after every
meal with dental bones, and washes his feet and face after coming
in from outside." Franky also talks, which our Carol has
witnessed, "he growels and pulls his left upper lip up, especially
when you kiss his face or head. You would think he was ready to
eat you - but the tail never stops. He's just talking...funny
little guy."
"Thank God for Carol
and Skip - and Kim who transported little Franky to them. All
three of us are so grateful. Happy Holidays"

Robbin Orndorff December 2004
February 2005
"Franky is old enough
now to have responsibility. He decided he wanted to adopt a puppy
dog. He takes him everywhere, and gives him lots of kisses. He loves
his fur baby almost as much as we love him!"
