Maddie - Golden Retriever Happy Ending
Maddie

Maddie's Dad Ross tells us "Maddie is quite a gal! She loves lying in front of the fireplace when we have a fire going on chilly evenings. She & I are usually there together sharing the warmth. (Her name should have been "Shadow"). Maddie follows me everywhere. She loves to go for rides to the Bank, where the drive up tellers give her "Cookies." Our grandchildren just love her, and she returns the love 10 fold! She has fit into our family so well, and adapted to her new surroundings so quickly!
Thank You "Almost Heaven," Carol, & Llona. You made this possible!"

Ross Schmitt

We think her smile says it all!! :)))

"This is where he is when I am working in the home office. This does not last long before he is at the keyboard nudging my hand and wanting some attention!!!

He is adjusting very nicely to his new home and getting more gorgeous every day! His coat is shiny and he is getting to be more than just bones!! "

Jackson (formerly: Lucky)

Jackson's family writes, "He is happier than you could ever imagine. Plays with bailey, falls into our lap like a marshmallow melting, and smiles incessantly. We are happy too, except for the deer chasing. He does run off if up in the country, but coming back quicker and quicker... any tips for the deer issue? Hate to keep him leashed, and I think the spitz does send him hunting. We love him!!!!"

Gypsy Rose - Golden Retriever Happy Ending
Gypsy Rose (formerly: Gypsy)

Gyspy Rose's Mom writes, "Here's a picture of Gypsy Rose (as we now call her)! She is such a sweet, sweet dog and has brought so much joy into our life. In this picture, you can see that she has the run of the yard with lots of toys to play with. She also has lots of doggie friends (and people friends) who come over regularly to visit.
...We really appreciate what you are doing at Almost Heaven, if not for you, we wouldn't have a beautiful and wonderful dog like Gypsy Rose!"

Sadie's Walkathon Group - Golden Retriever Happy Ending
Sadie's First Walkathon for M.S.

Sadie participated in the 2004 MS Walkathon to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. She & her group of friend, 2 & 4 footed, completed the 3.5 mile walk with flying colors!!! Her chaperone, Sarah, says: "Very fun – water and treat breaks for people and dogs, too! Sadie’s favorite part was jumping into the streams along the way!"
We are so proud & impressed with Sadie's Charity work!!!!! We knew her as Berry who was found on the "streets", had one litter and almost died in a high kill shelter before she was rescued. It makes us Happy to see the her obvious happiness as well as the joy she is bringing to others!
