7/24/05 - Adoptions

Joy, Dakota, Reggie and Sunshine have been adopted.

In the article Dog Health Emergencies: What Will You Do?, Joel Walsh says "... you may be a master of human First Aid. But do you know what to do in a dog health emergency?." The article discusses the steps you should take if your canine companion is the victim of a traffic accident, heat stroke, poisoning, choking and drowning.

Levi has been adopted.

Sadie and Jack have recently become residents at Almost Heaven's Sanctuary.

Sadie was picked up by animal control in the middle of a busy road, her owners declined to rescue her from the pound. She was definitely a sad sight when she arrived with 3 large tumors, a raging allergic reaction. As soon as Sadie is physcially ready, she will be looking for a forever home. In the meantime, she is seeking Golden Angel Sponsors and appreciates any and all good wishes.

Jack's owner moved away and left him to fend for himself. He appears to have some neurological conditions and is probably totally deaf, as well. He is seeking Golden Angel Sponsors.

Max and Buddy have been added to Almost Heaven's list of Adoptable Golden's Looking for Forever Homes.

Max is a wonderful, well-behaved boy. He adores children and gets along with cats and canines.

Buddy is soooo loving. He's also housebroken, loves children and gets along with other canines, although he is not keen on kitties.

Reggie is a big, blonde, handsome boy that is looking for a best friend.

2 1/2 year old Abigail is an intelligent, gorgeous well behaved girl.

Meet Sunshine's pups. Sunshine's pups are only 4 weeks old, but are growing like weeds. We have no idea who their daddy was (please don't ask us to guess). We are accepting applications Sunshine's puppies, 1 boy and 3 girls, who will be looking for a forever home. If you would like to offer a loving home to a Sunshine puppy, please submit an application.

Daisy is about a year old and is a special girl with a wonderful personality.

Sunshine is a lovely girl abandoned at a kill shelter, where she gave birth to 9 puppies (only 4 survived).

Sunshine's pups are only 4 weeks old, but are growing like weeds. The breed of the father is unknown (please don't ask us to guess). We have boys and girls who will be looking for a forever home.
