We are saddened to hear
about the passing of Gracie (known originally to us as Tootie).
On November 2, 2005, Miss Gracie passed on to Rainbow
Bridge. We are heartbroken and send our deepest condolences
to her adoptive Mom, Christine Cook ... who gave Miss Gracie
the loving home and family we feel she deserved and enjoyed.
She will be dearly missed by all of us at Almost Heaven. |

the holiday picture. Bring your dog, cat or other furry friend
to Lake Accotink Park for pictures with “Santa Claws.” Your pet’s
special moment will be digitally captured on disk for you to keep.
Cost is $5 per pet. To register send participants’ names, address,
phone number, age, program title, and a check payable to FCPA
to Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield, Virginia

Turbo, Dazee, Sugar, Aaron, Honey Bear,
Baby and Bear have been added to Almost Heaven's list of Adoptable
Golden's Looking for Forever Homes.

8 month old Turbo has a loving personality,
is used to children and is an absolute cutie!!

Dazee's owner passed away and found
herself unwanted by the remaining family members. She is
11 years young, is house trained and gets along with other
canines. We will consider foster and or permanent homes
for her.

Sugar is a sweet heart. We'll never
know how this gentle, older soul wound up in the shelter.
She's very overweight and will need to be on a strict diet.
We will consider foster and or permanent homes for her.

Aaron's about 3-4 years old and loves
to play with his tennis ball. He came to us when his family
ran into personal difficulties and could no longer take
care of him.

Honey Bear is as sweet as they come.
She is housebroken, good with children, other dogs and doesn't
mind cats.
|
|
Baby and Bear (female & male)
lost their home when the children developed severe allergies.
They are housebroken, used to children of all ages, and
need to be adopted together. They have lived their entire
lives together and we think it's best that they are allowed
to grwo old together too.
